Ramadhan ini

Assalamualaikum semua,

Avoid Sinning....

Reminder in Ramadhan (from Ust Husin Yee).

Avoid Sinning
We cannot label human as "sin free" because they never will be.It is proven from the saying of the Prophet (s.a.w) when said:
"Every son of Adam sins and the best of the sinners are those who repent" (Ibn Majjah).

Being in this blessed month we need to remind ourselves that it is not sufficient to refrain from food only but we also need to refrain our limbs from committing grave sins.

To show the seriousness of this, the Prophet(s.a.w) said:
"The Gossip-monger will not enter paradise" (al- Bukhaaree,Muslim and Musnad Ahmed bin Hambal)

"Beware of telling lies, for lying leads to immorality and immorality leads to Hellfire.A man will keep telling lies and striving to tell lies until he is recorded with Allah as a liar" (Muslim)

"If a person does not avoid vain talk and evil conduct during fasting, Allah does not care if he abstains from food and drink.(al-Bukhaaree and Muslim)

"He who believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good (sensible talk) or keep quiet..." (al- Bukharee)

Allah said (interpretation of the meaning):
"And verily, I am indeed forgiving to him/her who repents, believes (in My Oneness and associates none in worship with Me) and does righteous good deeds, and then remain constant in doing them (till his/her death)." (20:22)

Alhamdulillah these words of guarantee coming from the Lord of the universe gives us hope and a future to look for. Therefore, whenever anyone of us commits a sin, seek forgiveness with humility and not repeat it, then follow up by increasing the good deeds.
